How to Set Battery Parameters

During testing, it is recommended to set the test parameters according to the battery specifications.
If no specifications are available or they are unclear, the following parameters can be used for reference:
1.2V Ni-MH:
Charge current ≤ 0.25C, Discharge current ≤ 0.5C, Discharge voltage = 1.0V
1.2V Ni-Cd:
Charge current ≤ 0.25C, Discharge current ≤ 0.5C, Discharge voltage = 0.8V
3.7V Li-ion:
Charge current ≤ 0.5C, Charge voltage = 4.2V, Discharge current ≤ 0.5C, Discharge voltage = 2.8V
3.2V LiFePO4:
Charge current ≤ 1C, Charge voltage = 3.65V, Discharge current ≤ 1C, Discharge voltage = 2.5V
2V Lead-acid:
Charge current ≤ 0.25C, Charge voltage = 2.4V, Discharge current ≤ 0.5C, Discharge voltage = 1.75V
For batteries tested in series, the voltage is calculated as single cell voltage × number of cells.
The current is independent of series connection.
The capacity measured by the tester in series mode is the capacity of a single cell.
(C = discharge rate, numerically equal to the battery capacity.
Example: For a 2000mAh battery, 0.5C = 1A)
